We moved house four months ago now but there was one room which we hadn't got around to sorting out. Originally it had been a workshop at the back of the garage but the previous owners had blocked up the door from the garage and made a new door from the living room and used this room as a formal dining room. Now, we don't do formal dining. We have a perfectly nice 'breakfast' room to eat in and really don't feel the need to have a different room for each meal of the day! And so this room has just sat empty (almost) while we decided what to do with it.....
......until this week that is. When we moved i was very excited to get a study to use as my studio which was such a treat as i had always had to spread out across the dining table. During my latest crafting frenzy though i REALLY spread out to the point where no-one could find the printer under all my fabric! (I did actually clean up before it took this photo)......
....and so Hubby said i should have the 'Room' to use as my studio so i'll have more room and so the study can actually be used as a study. I politely suggested he might want the room himself before promptly ordering some desks and cupboards before he changed his mind. My delivery slot was between 12 and 6pm and it arrived a 5.30pm! Typical! So while Hubby watched football, i got building!
....i am now officially the 'Flat-pack Queen'!
And i now have a shiny new Studio to spread out in. Time to get crafting again me thinks.

What luxury! I long for a studio that isn't the basement or a closet.
Hooray!
Blimey. I feel almost bad for stuggling and all that swearing when I was constructing B's wardrobe earlier in the year! You most certainly are the 'flat pack queen'. How wonderful! Lucky you xx
Oh, you lucky thing! If you read my latest post you'll see why I'm so jealous! (and now wondering if we could convert our garage into a studio...)
